The Office of Energy is the legislatively designated state energy policy and program development office within Florida. The office evaluates energy related studies, analyses and stakeholder input in order to recommend to the Governor and Legislature energy policies and programs that will move Florida toward a more diverse, stable and reliable energy portfolio. The office also uses available state and federal funds to develop and manage energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy education programs throughout the state.
