A permit must be obtained before the pesticide aldicarb (Temik) is applied in Florida. Permit applications may be submitted online or by using a paper application form. Aldicarb may only be applied within the approved application period indicated on the permit.
Since aldicarb is a restricted use pesticide, anyone purchasing or using it must have a restricted use pesticide (RUP) applicator license, and any pesticide dealer selling aldicarb products must have an RUP dealer license.
