The Aquaculture Review Council was created by Florida statute to provide a means of communication between the aquaculture industry and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The council consists of eight members and includes the aquaculture representative on the State Agricultural Advisory Council and seven additional members appointed to the Commissioner of Agriculture.
The Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers encourages the entry of qualified individuals into the profession by approving individuals and businesses applying for licensure as professional surveyors and mappers. In addition, the board protects the public by disciplining licensees who violate professional practice standards.
The mission of the Citrus Budwood Technical Advisory Committee is to provide oversight to programs designed to acquire, maintain, and distribute quality sources of citrus germplasm.
This council assists in advising the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services on issues regarding amusement devices and the attraction industry. This includes permitting of events and safety inspections of amusement rides and attractions.
The Florida Consumers' Council was created to advise and assist the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in carrying out its duties. Members are selected from various areas of consumer interest and are, when possible, leading members of statewide organizations representing segments of the consumer public so as to establish a broadly based and representative consumer council.
The mission of the Florida Coordinating Council on Mosquito Control is to provide assistance and recommendations to the Commissioner of Agriculture and the legislature in all matters related to public health pest control in the state of Florida.
The Endangered Plant Advisory Council consists of seven persons to be appointed by the Commissioner of Agriculture. Each of the following groups is represented by one member per group: the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs Inc., Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association Inc., Committee for Rare and Endangered Plants and Animals, Florida Forestry Association, and Florida Native Plant Society. In addition, two members are botanists, each of whom is a staff or faculty member at a state university.
The Florida Food Defense and Advisory Council creates an infrastructure for enhancing outreach, response and information sharing of food safety issues at the state level.
The Motor Vehicle Repair Advisory Council is created to advise and assist the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in carrying out and reviewing the rules relating to the Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act. These rules are adopted by FDACS and the council shall advise FDACS on matters relating to educational grants, advancements in industry standards and practices, and other issues that require technical expertise and consultation or that promise better consumer protection in the motor vehicle repair industry.
The Pest Control Enforcement Advisory Council (PCEAC) advises FDACS on pest control enforcement issues. This council serves as a statewide forum for the coordination of pest-control-related activities to eliminate duplication of effort and maximize protection of the public.

The Private Investigation, Recovery, and Security Advisory Council advises FDACS on matters relative to the regulation of the private investigative, recovery and repossession, and private security industries in Florida.
