Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
What Is the FAST Fellowship?
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) is the largest state agricultural agency in the United States. Our Florida Agricultural Science and Technology (FAST) Fellowship Program is an exciting opportunity for recent college graduates in the sciences to gain top-notch experience in the laboratory.
This is a paid, two-year program in our state-of-the-art laboratory located in Tallahassee, Florida. The program offers a variety of opportunities for graduates at all levels (bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D.) to gain hands-on experience on cutting-edge equipment while allowing time for scientific research.
Advance Your Career
Many scientists who have worked at FDACS have advanced their careers and taken on even larger roles in science and technology at agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and at corporations like Winn-Dixie and Good Start Genetics.
